A Message From Our Founder
I built Protejo because of a conversation I never expected to have with my own child.
One evening, my kid came to me upset about something that happened online — something I had no idea was going on. In that moment I realized: I had no visibility into what was reaching my child through their phone. Not the conversations, not the images, not the pressure. And I'm a tech person. If I didn't know, most parents don't either.
I looked for a solution. What I found were spy apps — tools that let you read every message, track every move. That wasn't what I wanted. I didn't want to become my child's surveillance officer. I wanted to know when something dangerous was happening — and only then.
That's why I created Protejo. An AI that watches so you don't have to. It doesn't show you your child's private life. It doesn't give you access to their jokes, their crushes, or their friendships. It only speaks up when something crosses the line — bullying, sexual content, violence, self-harm.
Because I believe protection and privacy can coexist. Because children deserve both safety and trust. And because parents deserve peace of mind without guilt.
